Some buyers will tell us they only want to consider short sales and foreclosures. You may miss the best deal that way. I would suggest you keep your options open. Homes like this one are a good example. This is a long time owner who has maintained the home immaculately while they owned it. While the buyer may want to make decorating changes, they won’t have to worry about any of the major systems of the home and the expenses that come with putting them in. It only cost a them slightly more than a short sale or foreclosure that would have required much more work and cash.
